Lohkare Infra

Lohkare Infra was formed in 2025 by the merger of four entrepreneur led companies: VM Suomalainen (VMS), Lännen Alituspalvelu (LAP), Oteran and Maalinja, creating a decentralised infrastructure services group operating across Finland.

The company predominantly serves the public sector, providing essential infrastructure services spanning planning, construction, maintenance, and engineering for both new build and renovation, with end markets including streets and roads, water works, bridges and district heating.

Triton’s investment in Lohkare Infra applies its established decentralised-services playbook, which has previously been implemented with infrastructure platforms such as Eleda, OCU Group, EQOS and Infratek. This approach is now being applied to the stable but fragmented Finnish infrastructure services market, underpinned by long-term trends such as urbanisation and the energy transition.

Triton aims to build a nationwide, decentralised infrastructure platform through the strategic integration of entrepreneur led businesses. By maintaining local accountability and lean overheads, and enhancing operational and governance frameworks, the objective is to improve predictability, margins and service quality. In addition, Triton will pursue an accelerated buy-and-build strategy and selectively expanding into adjacencies such as electricity grid and telecom civil works to broaden capabilities and deliver reliable, efficient, sustainable growth.
